Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu. Be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Just relax and take a leisured stroll around the city. You can excurse and reveal this charming city by person and buy some souvenir for your family or friends to share your experience.Your 6 Day Fantastic Chengdu Tour begins, happy travel!
Chengdu, located in southwest China, is the capital of Sichuan province. More than four thousand years ago, the prehistorically Bronze Age culture of Jinsha established itself in this region. The fertile Chengdu Plain, on which Chengdu is located, is called Tianfuzhi guo in Chinese, which literally means "the country of heaven", or "the Land of Abundance". Chengdu was also the birthplace of the first widely used paper money in the world (Northern Song Dynasty, around A.D. 960). Chengdu was recently ranked as China's 4th "Most Livable City" by the Chinese newspaper giant, China Daily.
Day 2
Chengdu
This day, after having breakfast, you will do sight-seeing in Chengdu City. Our destinations include Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, Panda Breeding and Research Centre and Wuhou Memorial Temple. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Thatched Cottage of Du Fu: The poet Du Fu lived in Chengdu for years. In the west suburbs of the city, he built for himself a thatched hut and wrote a lot of poems here. The poet’s thatched cottage is an important scenic and historic spot in Chengdu.
Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center: 10km north of Chengdu this beautifully laid-out 230 hectare park is home to giant pandas, the endearing red, or lesser panda, and other endangered species. Visit the nursery to see the highly successful breeding program, and the many enclosures among lakes, bamboo groves and shady walkways, to view the pandas at rest and play. There’s a wealth of information, a panda museum, and of course the engaging animals themselves. Wuhou Memorial Temple: The Marquis of Wu, Zhuge Liang (181-234) was the outstanding military strategist immortalized in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and in the saying wise as "the Marquis of Wu". Peaceful and attractive gardens surround several halls, including one dedicated to his memory and another to that of his emperor Liu Bei, some impressive statues, a small museum, a famous Tang Dynasty stele and the classic red wall leading to Liu Bei’s tomb.

Take advantage of a full-day tour to the sublime Leshan Giant Buddha.
Leshan Giant Buddha: The Great Buddha in Leshan is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province and on the Lingyun Mountain where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet. It has been the largest stone carved sitting Buddhist statue in the world so far.
Day 4
Zigong -
- Dazu
After the breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Zigong and you will go to discover the Zigong Dinosaur Museum and explore the Historical Museum of the Salt Industry. Then you will be transferred to Dazu and stay overnight.
Zigong Dinosaur Museum: Besides Banpo Village Remains Museum and the Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, Zigong Dinosaur Museum is another large-scale local museum. It is the only dinosaur fossils burial site in China. The Dinosaur Museum Together with the American National Dinosaur Park and the Canadian Dinosaur Park are called the world top three dinosaur museums. It has also been named as one of "the forty best and most famous Chinese scenic tour sites" by the Chinese national tour bureau. Historical Museum of the Salt Industry: The Salt History Museum can be traced in Xiqing Guild, which is located on the Jiefang Road in the center of Zigong. This museum is the only one to collect, study and display the culture relics of salt industry in China, it was built up with the mainly sponsoring of Den Xiaoping.

Dazu -

Today you will experience Dazu Grottoes and One-day tour in Dazu.
Dazu Grottoes: Dazu is a county under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality. It is 83 kilometers to the west of the Chongqing metropolitan area and 256 kilometers to the east of Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province. The Dazu Grottoes spread across more than 75 sites in the county, and contain over 50,000 stone sculptures carved from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). They are mainly located on Baoding (Treasure Peak) Mountain, Beishan (Northern) Mountain, Shimen (Stone Gate) Mountain, Nanshan (Southern) Mountain, and Shizhuan Mountain. One day tour in Dazu: An air-conditioned van with driver and private guide are at your disposal for the day (Dazu).
Day 6
Depart from chongqing
You will first take a visit of Goose Neck Park, and then get a bird's eye view of Ciqikou Old Town. After that, your last destination in Chongqing is Three Gorges Museum. And you will be transferred to the airport.Your 6 Day Fantastic Chengdu Tour comes to the end.
Ciqikou Old Town: This lively old area has been partly restored, and remains an authentic and busy community. The old wooden houses and narrow streets furthest from the river are mostly unimproved, closer to the river there are craft and souvenir shops, teahouses and music, and lots of local food and snacks. The locals certainly love their food - this is a good chance to try some. Three Gorges Museum: The best exhibits are those on the history of the Yangtze and, of course, the Dam. It also houses some excellent stone and terracotta sculptures, art and interesting artefacts, items from the war years, and temporary exhibitions. The museum faces the impressive People's Hall, built to resemble the Temple of Heaven, across a lively square, itself a hub of activity.
