Dalian teems with many top end hotels, including the Holiday Inn, the Shangri-La Hotel and the Swissotel. These hotels are all well furnished and with helpful, friendly staff, but the prices are relatively high. Two equally nice, but cheaper, five star options are the Harbour View Hotel, convenient and well-equipped, and the Furama Hotel, a Japanese joint venture and probably the best in town. At the middle range, the Wanda International Hotel and the Golden Shine Hotel provide four star hotel service with three star hotel price. Both of them provide lodging, dining, business and entertainment facilities. Prices range from RMB300 to RMB800. There are not many budget hotels in Dalian, but you can try the Norinco Hotel for rock bottom prices, or the Tangyin Hotel which enjoys a good location and decent service.
