Which kind of China visa do I apply for my tour to China?
China tourist visa (Type L) and business visa (Type F) are 2 main kinds of Chinese visa you should apply for. China tourist visa is open to foreign visitors who are going to China for the purpose of China travel while China business visa is to those who are going to China for the purpose of meeting, conference and other relevant activities.
There are 2 main China tourist visa you should apply for your tour to China as a leisure China visitor as follows:
- One is a single-entry China visa, which is suitable for most visitors with a valid duration of 3 months after the issuing date. You could stay in China for a maximum of 30 days.
- The other is a multiple-entry China visa, which is necessary for some visitors who need to leave and re-enter mainland China when they are travelling in China. Please keep in mind that, when you leave from mainland China for your Hong Kong tour and Macau tour, you will need to get a mutiple-entry visa for China if you want to re-enter mainland China.
Which kind of papers do I need to prepare for my China Visa to China?
To apply for a China tourist visa, you need to prepare an application form, a passport-size photo and a valid passport. It takes about 7 working days for an application to be processed.
How to get my China Travel visa?
China travel visa is issued by the Chinese Embassy in your country. You have several options as below:
- Go to the Chinese Embassy in your capital and main business city at least 3 months before your China tour. A sufficient time of getting visa for China will guarantee your China tour.
- Contact a local visa service and ask for their help.
- Contact the China National Tourist Office in your city if there is any or other cities in your country.
- Contact us. We will assist you detailed instruction to help you process your visa application after you booked your tour to China with us.
If the China Embassy requests me to offer a China travel invitation letter, do you offer and which kind of steps will be taken?
For most residents from European and North American, you will not be required to offer a China travel invitation letter as an individual visitor. For most residents from Asia, you might be requested by the China Embassy. However, we cannot offer a China invitation letter to individual travellers but a group of travellers from our travel agent partner. How do I get visa for Hong Kong and Macau China?
An Arrival Visa to Hong Kong is valid for residents of most countries who can go to Hong Kong without applying for a China visa in advance and are allowed to stay for 90 days. An Arrival Visa to Macau is valid for residents of 65 countries, including the United States, Japan and European countries who visit Macau without applying for a China visa in advance and are allowed to stay for 30 days.
Travelers who leave Mainland China for Hong Kong and Macau will need to apply for a new visa or multiple -entry visa, if they wish to re-enter Mainland China. Visas are not required for transit passengers who will not stay in Hong Kong more than 24 hours with international flight tickets on route to a third country. Please check with the Chinese embassy in your country of residence for the updated information of China visa.
How can I get China visa in Hong Kong?
If you are in Hong Kong now and want to visit mainland China, you may obtain your China visa by yourself from Visa Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China which is opened from Monday to Friday. Below are the documents you should bring to obtain a China visa along with information about contact methods:
- A piece of recent passport-size photo. Two is much more better.
- A valid passport with 3 months duration.
